Rainer Grobholz is a Professor at the Medical Faculty of the University of Zurich and the Director of the Institute of Pathology at the Cantonal Hospital Aarau in Switzerland. He received his medical degree at the University of Heidelberg in Germany and completed his pathology residency training at the University Hospital in Mannheim/Germany. His research and teaching focus is prostate and uropathology as well as digital pathology. He is cofounder and vice-president of the Swiss Digital Pathology Consortium (SDiPath) and started with digital pathology in routine diagnostics in 2013.
With this long-standing background, he gave several talks and workshops on implementing digital pathology in the daily routine.
